A constructor is a building used to automate single-ingredient items. Alternate crafting recipes can be unlocked by researching  Hard Drives and completing necessary Milestones.

Trivia

• The small spot above the constructor's Indicator Light is a valid location for a conveyor pole to be built on. You have to built the conveyor belt from some distance away from the constructor, then aim the ending pole above the indicator light for the belt to be built on it.
