Copper Ingot is a crafting component made from Copper Ore and used to craft Wires, Copper Sheets and some other alloys.

Weighted Point is the weighted consumption rate which is calculated by: (resource consumption rate / maximum extraction rate) * 10,000. The lower the better.
Energy per item can be used to measure how much power is consumed for the entire production chain. The lower the better.
Building space and building count are summed for all buildings, excluding belts, pipes, power poles, power lines and other logistic infrastructures. The lower the better.

When there's lots of Iron nearby, Copper Alloy Ingot can be used to increase your Copper Ingot output. It uses less power and space than a row of smelters producing the same amount of Ingots .The downside is that Iron Ore used here can't be used elsewhere. Also you need Foundries for it.

If you have a lot of Water available, Pure Copper Ingot can be used to boost your Copper Ingot production without using other valuable resources. If you don't like dealing with the size of Refineries and piping water, this recipe may not be for you.
