The Nobelisk Detonator is a piece of handheld equipment used to detonate Nobelisks. to throw a nobelisk, you can hold down the to adjust the throw range. Reload with R after each throw. to detonate all nobelisk. Multiple nobelisks can be deployed, then detonate at once to create chains of explosions. This can be useful for clearing large areas of vegetation or lure multiple aggressive Fauna into the blast radius. Nobelisk will stick to any surface it touches when thrown. Damage
- An exploding nobelisk can damage Engineers, causing up to 50 damage in close range. 3 exploding nobelisks can kill the engineer.
- When detonating a nobelisk, it makes red spheres that disappear very quickly and a cloud of dust from the explosion.
Tips
- Standing on the high ground and aim 30 to 45 degrees upward can achieve a very long throw.
- Be careful around Spitters and Alpha Spitters as they shoot projectiles. If their fireballs hit one of the nobelisk, the nobelisk will explode.
- Motion physics apply to a thrown Nobelisk: if a Nobelisk is thrown while the engineer is running forward, its throw range increases.
