The Nobelisk Detonator is a handheld equipment used to detonate Nobelisks. Left click to throw a nobelisk, you can hold down the left mouse button to adjust the throw range. Reload with R after each throw. Right click to detonate all nobelisk. Nobelisk can be thrown multiple times to create chains of explosions. This can be useful for clearing large areas of vegetation or lure multiple aggressive Fauna into the blast radius. Nobelisk will stick to any surface it touches when thrown. A thrown nobelisk cannot be retrieved in any way.
When detonating a nobelisk, it makes an red spheres that disappears very quickly and makes cloud of dust from the explosion.
Be careful around Alpha Spitters as at least the ones emitting fireballs appear to let thrown explosives blow up, if and when they are hit.
It can be crafted at the Equipment Workshop after completing the Tier 4 Milestone: Explosives. An exploding nobelisk can damage Engineers, causing 4.7 damage in close range. 3 exploding nobelisks can kill the engineer.
