The game is going to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for at least 12 months after release. Any information beyond this date is unknown.
Currently there is no confirmed release date for the game, however, in a recent live Q&A stream (06/02/2019), Jace and Snutt mentioned that it is (Jace) "Sooner than you think", followed by (Snutt) "but later than you hope". Timestamped.
Closed Alpha
The Satisfactory closed alpha began on the 17th of October 2018.[1] 500 keys were released in the first stage of closed alpha.
Alpha keys and Wednesday content are now both on Wednesday, alternating each week. The current rotation is "Keys > Content > Keys > Content" and so on.[2]
- The next Alpha Key day is: 13/02/2019
- The next Wednesday content is: 20/02/2019
How to enter for a chance to participate in the alpha!
Please note, the alpha is to help CSS further develop the game, so feedback is crucial. Please consider this if you are selected.
- You will need to download the Epic Games Launcher to play the Satisfactory Alpha
- Head over to https://www.satisfactorygame.com/ and enter your email address to sign up to the newsletter
- You will be sent a Google survey, that must be completed, to the email address you signed up with
- Note: Unless you specify on the survey, you will not receive a confirmation email when this is completed
- You're done! If you are selected (see above for the schedule), you will be sent an email with instructions on how to get started!
If you are selected, please read your email thoroughly as NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements) are in place, any breaches can lead to your access being revoked.
