Why doesn't a rotor need copper wire?
As an electronics engineer, I had to wind a rotor myself. And I used copper wire there!

The weighted point analysis for the steel rotor looks off to me. The steel rotor uses less than half the iron ore of the default recipe, but the weighted points listed for iron ore are barely any different.
