Walls are a set of buildings which can be used to enclose and divide areas of a factory. They can be painted, like other buildings. Walls snap to foundations and other walls. They are useful for building multi-floor structures.

Most walls come in two types, metal and plating.

Types

Excluding the Fence, all walls share the following common properties:

• Width: 8 m
• Height: 4 m
• Length: 1 m (centered on the foundation edge)

Removed walls

As of Patch 0.3, it is no longer possible to unlock Wall Conveyor Perpendiculars. The only way to access them is by loading a savegame from previous versions with these unlocked, which will make them normally appear in the world and build menu. These walls were functionally replaced with the Conveyor Wall Mount.

Trivia

• The Wall Gate is large enough for a Tractor or a Explorer to pass through, but a Truck will not fit. It is also not big enough for the Train.
  • Trains simply phase through the upper part of the Wall Gate as they lack collision.
